The Tours
One Day in Rio
Rio was God's gift to the picture postcard industry. Going to see all the sights will take you forever alone. On this one day tour you're going to ride the cable car to Sugar Loaf, ride a train through Tijuca forest and drive up to Christ the Redemptor for an unbeatable view of the city.
The Favela Tour
Anything in Rio runs the only walking tour of a favela. An estimated 60% of South America live in slums and so this is the only way to get a real understanding of the city. You're guaranteed absolute safety and the people of the favelas are always happy that tourists come and see how their lives really are. You can get your photo taken with the biggest gangsters in the city who smile for your cameras. You'll climb the endless stairways and count the bullet holes in the walls. Who you meet and what you see depend entirely on that particular day and no favela tour is ever the same twice.
You can only enter the favela with our guide though and must never attempt to enter alone.
The Beaches of Buzios
Vacation in Brazil is all about going to the beach as much as possible. So where do Brazilians go on vacation? The beach of course. The sands of Copacabana and Ipanema are okay for most of the year but when on vacation the Brazilians head to Buzios. Here you can find 24 of the best beaches in the world on one peninsula and everyone goes wild.
Anything in Rio has negotiated it's own private beach at Eduardo's Guesthouse. Here is where you'll take the photos that will make all your friends back home hate you. Swim, fish, snorkel, scuba dive or just chill in beach heaven and stare at women in bikinis so small you have to focus to make out the cloth.
Eduardo knows the island like the back of his hand and always knows where the party is. The clubs and nightlife of Buzios make Ibiza seem like the convention of the ugly and square. Here is where the most beautiful people in the world party and what little inhibitions they had, they left behind in Rio.
We drive you there and back and can arrange whatever schedule you want. Anything in Buzios!
Iguacu water falls
This is the 8th wonder of the world. More water than the mind can imagine
pouring over the borders of Argentina into Brasil, falling 269 feet into
a world of misty spray and rainbows. One of our visitors put it this way:
"Coming to Brasil and not seeing Iguacu is like coming to Brasil and not
getting laid."
Rocky islands that stretch hover 2 and a half miles create 275 separate waterfalls and in less time than it takes you to reach for your camera you'll understand why it's a Unesco World Heritage Site. The name Iguacu comes from the indigenous term meaning 'great water' and it's hard not to get a little religious when you see that much water embracing gravity.
You'll fly there and stay 3 nights in the 4 star San Rafael hotel which is partnered with anythinginrio.com and is the best place to stay in town. The hotel's guide will drive you to the Iguacu Falls and we recommend spending half a day on the Brasilian side and the other half from Argentina.
On the other day we'll take you to the biggest black market in the world just overe the border with Paraguay. Here you can buy literally anything but especially electronic equipment at unbelievable prices – laptops, dvd players and cameras are all available and the authorities turn a blind eye.
So in three days you'll have seen one of the most impressive waterfalls in the world, added the Argentina and Paraguay stamps to your passport to impress your friends and returned with hi-tech goodies that would have cost more than your entire holiday. If only you could have recovered from the hangover from the Rio nightlife!
Tropical Islands
There aren't many cities in the world where you can find yourself on a desert island in a couple of hours. You'll take a boat ride out of Rio harbour and soon be playing castaway on beaches with white sand and palm trees. The only thing that's missing is Tom Hanks.
Samba Show
You've never seen so many beautiful women together in all your life. Long-legged samba queens shake their talent on stage at Plataforma in Leblon. Anything in Rio has the best seats and can maybe (italics) arrange introductions!
Soccer at Maracana
The Maracana stadium is one of the largest in the world. Soccer rivals catholicism as South America's biggest religion and you have to see the Cariocas going crazy when a goal is scored. We get you the best seats and provide transport and security to and from the game.
Hang gliding
We have one of the only teams of professional, licensed hang glider pilots in the city. Rio is at its most beautiful when seen from the air and you'll have photos to prove it. You'll be driven up to the launch site and won't have to do anything more than keep your eyes open as you fly over the awesome landscape.
